Name the outcome

Start by saying what should be true when the work is finished. Instead of asking someone to handle a meeting, ask them to confirm a time, share an agenda, and make sure attendees have the right materials. A specific outcome gives both of you a practical way to recognize when the task is complete.

Add the details that change a decision

Share the deadline, the people involved, and any limits on time, cost, or access. Link to one useful example when you have it. Explain which choices your Virtual Professional can make and which need your approval. Focus on information that affects the result, rather than trying to describe every possible step.

Agree on the return

Tell your Ellareon management team how you want results delivered and which blockers need your attention. A brief message can cover the outcome, deadline, approval boundaries, and one useful example. Our U.S.-based team checks that the handoff is clear, coordinates the work with your Virtual Professional, and brings you the updates or decisions that matter.

Try one small handoff this week.

Choose a recurring task. Explain the outcome, share an example, and agree on a check-in.
